Days of our Lives Recap for Wednesday, December 16, 2020, features Claire smitten with Charlie, Tripp trusting his mom, and Ava putting Charlie in his place.

Days of our Lives Recap Highlights

Ava (Tamara Braun) lost it on Charlie (Mike Manning). How dare he not only rape a girl but let his brother take the fall?! Charlie said he did not mean to hurt Allie. It was all a terrible mistake. He begged Ava to not turn him in.

Charlie Begged And Pleaded

Ava was less than willing to do Charlie’s bidding. He was merely her other son, after all. She was all about saving Tripp, even if that meant throwing Charlie to the wolves. Charlie frantically got on his knees and pleaded with Ava to keep him safe.

Give Mom A Chance

As for Tripp (Lucas Adams), he was in the square chatting with his dad. Steve (Stephen Nichols) warned it was not a good idea to get to know his mom. Tripp balked. He spent enough time away from her. Tripp left and went to the apartment where he banged on the door waiting for Ava to answer.

Claire Is Crushing Hard

Claire (Isabel Durant) was all smiles as she shared her new boyfriend bliss. Charlie is perfect. He is nice, kind, and loving. Allie was thrilled until she found out Claire told Charlie about her attack. Why would she do such a thing? Claire had excuses and Allie accepted them.

Later, Allie ran into Steve in the square. He wanted to talk about what went down in London.

A Big Warning

Meanwhile, Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) had some answering to do. Victor (John Aniston) questioned him about getting close to Sarah (Linsey Godfrey). Why was he getting so close to Xander’s (Paul Telfer) girlfriend? Victor warned him to not cause any more drama.

The chat was interrupted by Maggie (Suzanne Rogers). She shared the news Ava is alive. Victor was shocked and Philip did a barely passable job of pretending to be shocked. How can this be? Well, Victor, you do live in Salem and Dr. Rolf has skills.

Brady And Chloe Caught Up

Meanwhile, Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) shared their first day at Basic Black. Brady was glad she was here, Chloe was pleased to be home. They talked about what happened with Philip while she was gone. The pair also shared their theories about why Philip was back. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
