Great ideas are sometimes born out of trying circumstances — or at least frustrating ones. Such was the case recently for The Young and the Restless star Mishael Morgan. But a word from a helpful source turned it all around for her.
Mishael Morgan Reveals New Tradition
Plenty of people can probably relate to scrambling around before the holidays, looking for something, and then not being able to find it. Morgan, who plays Amanda in Genoa City, revealed such a quandary recently on her Instagram account — along with the creative way she solved her issue and where she got the idea.
“I think we found a new Christmas tradition,” revealed the stunning star. “This happened out of sheer desperation. I couldn’t find Christmas tree decoration[s] anywhere!!! I felt like the worst mom, cuz I took so long to get going with the tree this year.”
But sometimes people are put in our path who can change everything. Luckily for Morgan, that’s exactly what happened. “Then a friendly stranger suggested that I make them. That sounded crazy, but it’s 2020, so I learned to roll with the punches. She shared pictures of the handmade ornaments, which turned out beautifully, and it will certainly make the holiday season extra special for her and her entire family — and probably for years to come.
A few asked how she did it and she answered pisqui36 by saying, “@pisqui36 so easy! I just got clear plastic ornaments from Michael’s, popped the top off and poured in a little pledge (floor cleaner lol), then added a lot of sparkles and let the kids shake them up. In a few I added a little paint and shake, shake! That’s it!”
Unfortunately for her character, the holidays may be a bit lonely since Amanda hasn’t really found any family yet, except for the knowledge that Devon’s (Bryton James) late wife Hilary was her long-lost twin.
