The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, November 12, 2021, is all about family connections, as Devon Hamilton and Abby Chancellor discuss Dominic’s future, Amanda Sinclair finally gets an apology from Naya Benedict, and Billy Abbott fills in Rey Rosales while Adam Newman tries to shut down Sally Spectra.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Devon (Bryton James) and Amanda (Mishael Morgan) discuss his desire to take Dominic away from Abby (Melissa Ordway) – just until she gets over the pesky grieving thing. Amanda wonders if Devon wants to sue for custody of his biological son, but Devon insists that’s not where he’s headed.

At Abby’s house, the grieving widow finally notices that her mother-in-law might be mourning too, but Nina quickly changes the subject to everyone being there for Abby. When Devon stops by, he seconds the message. It takes a village, you know. Taking Devon at his word, Abby shows up at Devon’s apartment, baby in tow.

Meanwhile, Naya finally begs Amanda’s forgiveness for that whole abandoning her and her sister as babies thing.

Young and the Restless: Stop the Presses

Adam (Mark Grossman) more or less tells Sally (Courtney Hope) to keep her nose out of his scheming business – if she wants to keep her job.

Billy (Jason Thompson) tries to do the same thing when Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) comes a-calling – again. Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) urges Billy to come clean and he does, admitting he knows where Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) is. He claims no crime has been committed. This is just some high-end corporate negotiations going on.

Later, Billy and Lily are shocked when the story neither of them authorized to run on Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) and Jesse’s letter from Camilla Rhoades is published. This means war with the Newmans! Adam sits at his desk and grins evilly.
