The missing Chance will soon be returning to the Genoa City fold. However, he won’t be played by Donny Boaz, who made his final appearance in the role on February 1.
In a surprise move, the soap has recast Philip “Chance” Chancellor IV. Daytime newcomer Conner Floyd takes over as Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) husband and will begin airing later this month.
Roxanne Hart debuts as Kim Dunaway on Thursday, November 18. The role is recurring and will play a pivotal part in an unfolding mystery. Hunt’s primetime credits include Medium, Oz, How to Get Away with Murder, and Chicago Hope.
The Young and the Restless made its debut in 1973 and introduced more sexual undertones and younger characters to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, four decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
