Mariah Copeland being MIA has her loved ones worried. No more than the fandom is about Paul Williams, though. Y&R spoilers show Mariah has to be rescued some time and we predict (okay, we hope) the Genoa City police chief is the one to save her.
How fun would it be for Paul (Doug Davidson) to return in a blaze of glory! First off, we need more cops around town. There can not be any more of Rey Rosales investigating his own attacks. Second, hello, everyone loves Paul. It’s time for him to come back and take his rightful place at the precinct.
How would it even go down, you ask? Well, soap family, we think we have that all figured out. Mariah is getting closer and closer to her due date and the longer she is gone, the more everyone will worry. It’s one thing to take some “me” time, it’s another to skip appointments and send generic group texts that confuse everyone.
Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) went to Rey but he isn’t being a whole lot of help. In fact, he pretty much refused to open an actual investigation. It’s going to take some hardball, and we can see Tessa reaching her breaking point and going to the top cop.
There is no way Paul is going to sit back and let Mariah suffer. Y&R spoilers showed how he rescued her when she was taken by the evil Ian Ward (Ray Wise) and he will do it again. Once he’s on the case, her captor will have no chance!
Picture it, Paul puts on his detective hat, cranks out the power of the police force, and searches for clues. He will find them all, like little bread crumbs leading him to the secret room. He will bust down that door, gun in hand as only Paul can. Mariah will be safe and her captor is going down, baby!
The big question is, who is Paul slapping the cuffs on? Will it be Ian Ward? Nina Webster? Stitch? Or, is it someone no one has even thought of yet? Think this wild speculation could really happen? Let us know in the comments section below.
