The return of Ben “Stitch” Rayburn has everyone talking. The Y&R spoilers hint he may not be here for long, but we guess there is a reason for the homecoming. And, we think it is going to have a big impact on Abby’s baby story.
The Y&R Spoilers Spec
Stitch (Sean Carrigan) claimed to come to town for a party but if that’s the case, why is he still here? Taking a day or two and saying hello to old friends is one thing, but deliberately seeking out his ex and her family is a whole different story. And, don’t even get us started on him creeping outside the mansion. Our guess is something very dark is going on inside Stitch’s mind.
Stitch’s Baby Obsession
The Y&R spoilers tease his behavior is getting more sinister by the day. Not only is Stitch intentionally seeking out Abby, but Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) too. He seems to really love looking at her baby bump. So much so, he’s even becoming quite the peeping Tom.
What if Stitch’s interest in that baby runs deeper than anyone could imagine? What if he never got over the loss of his and Abby’s baby? Is seeing her have a child with another man just too much? Would he really go dark and do the unthinkable — try to take the baby?
Stitch Delivers The Young and the Restless Drama
Here’s how we see this playing out. Stitch decides to stick around for a little while. He throws on some scrubs and a lab coat and makes like he’s back on the GC Memorial staff. No one questions him because why would they? He’s a familiar face and everyone adored him.

Then, Stitch makes sure he’s on-site the night Mariah goes into labor. He takes over her care and since he’s an old friend, everyone trusts him. He is a good, solid, caring man who has a warm smile and an upbeat demeanor. Plus, he’s a doctor. They don’t hurt people, right? Wrong.
Stitch delivers the baby and takes the tot away for a few tests, or so he says. Instead, he tucks the newborn away and takes off from the hospital, and hightails it out of town.
Y&R Spoilers Spec: A Chance Rescue
Poor Abby Newman-Chancellor will be a mess. The hospital’s lockdown comes too late, an Amber Alert is sent out, and a nationwide search begins. All the while, Stitch gets to his destination, goes into serious hiding, and cares for “his baby.”
Unfortunately for Stitch, he happens to pick the worst place to lie low. He may be away from most prying eyes but he just so happens to be in the same hotel as Chance! The undercover agent spies the devious doc, takes him down, and rescues baby Chancellor!
