Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is none too pleased to see Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) at her place of employment — Marchetti, in the Jabot offices. To add to her complications, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) shows up, and sparks are sure to fly. Interestingly, both women seem to stand together as he tells them something that makes them look skeptical.

At Newman Enterprises, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) updates Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) on something distressing, and we suspect it has to do with Jeremy Stark. Of course, they could be experiencing some type of business issue too, since Nikki is her daughter’s right-hand woman.

At the Abbott Mansion, Diane and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) talk while Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) stands by, looking entirely unamused. Speaking of being unamused, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) isn’t at all happy with his Aunt Ashley, and he lets her know.

At Society, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) seem to make a go of things by enjoying a meal together. They run into Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey Bregman) and Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc), who are there dining. Michael looks pleased to see Nick and Sally, but you probably shouldn’t expect the same from Lauren.

As for someone else who’s displeased, Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) happens upon her dad and Sally, and if looks could harm, well, Nick and Sally might be in need of medical assistance. She does not appreciate seeing Nick sharing a meal with her nemesis, but Nick isn’t too willing to let his daughter interfere in his personal life. Perhaps Summer will be able to act like an adult about the whole thing.
