The Y&R spoilers for October 18 – October 22, 2021, tease the beginning of something beautiful – or something potentially volatile, a disconcerting discussion, and so much more.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) takes his leave of the Locke wedding party, determined to do a little celebrating all on his lonesome. However, he’s soon joined by Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), still riding the high of watching the bride saying, “I do,” in a Spectra Original.
Sally playfully teases Adam for leaving her to the wolves, takes advantage of the champagne her boss has opened and basks in the glow of his heartfelt compliments. Despite an earlier promise to keep their relationship strictly professional, Sally and Adam are soon locking lips – a development that takes the two by surprise.
When Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) pays her grandson a visit, daughter Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) takes the opportunity to bemoan her husband’s continued absence.
Soon after, as if by magic, Abby receives a call from family friend Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell), who reveals that she has news regarding Chance Chancellor. Abby steadies herself for Christine’s subsequent visit, but she’s nonetheless disheartened to hear what the former legal eagle has to say.
According to Y&R spoilers, there’s still dissension in the ranks where Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) decision to marry Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) is concerned, and it’s about to drive a wedge between Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Look for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to do her best referee impression.
But while father and son struggle to reconcile their differences, Victor strengthens his relationship with Victoria by presenting her and Ashland with a unique wedding gift (as if they needed something else other than an Italian mansion).
Meanwhile, it’s back to Genoa City and life as usual for Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy), Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks). The latter is welcomed home with open arms by girlfriend Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), but it’s obvious that the tension between them hasn’t completely dissipated.
Finally, Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Adam finds himself on the receiving end of sound advice doled out by Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and that Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) surprises Sharon Rosales (Sharon Chase) with both his unexpected presence and a shocking life decision.
