Victoria Newman’s Young and the Restless wedding in Tuscany is the event of the year (or month at least) for Genoa City residents. It’s a veritable who’s who among the most prominent current, and even former, citizens of the fabled city. However, a few significant players are missing, and we can’t help but wonder why.
Young and the Restless: The Nieces And Nephews Have It
A recast Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) arrived just in time for his Aunt Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) wedding. A newlywed Summer Abbott (Hunter King) arrived from Milan to watch her aunt tie the knot in Tuscany.
With Noah and Summer there, we can’t figure out why Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) didn’t go to the wedding. She’s also Victoria’s niece. Sure, Faith is struggling a bit in school, but that seems like a thin reason to miss this big event. Surely, she could have missed a few days and gotten a tutor to catch up when she returned home.
Faith could’ve either come with her dad, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), or Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) could’ve brought her a bit later to avoid missing too many school days. Sharon and Victoria aren’t best friends, but they get along fine, even after the J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) debacle a few years back. It just doesn’t make sense to leave Faith out of the family affair.

All In The Family
Speaking of family, why would The Young and the Restless leave Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) out of Victoria’s wedding to Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi)? Sure, baby Dominic had some congestion, but Abby could’ve flown out a day later. Something doesn’t ring true about this decision.
Without a severe illness for the baby, it doesn’t make much sense why Abby bailed so quickly on her sister’s wedding. Yes, they aren’t the closest of sisters but shared a warm moment recently. We think she should’ve been there with the rest of the Newman family. At this point, the only sibling that Victoria actually wants there is Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), which is strange indeed.
