Y&R Spoilers For October 12: Lily Pushes Devon To Make A Risky Boardroom Move

The Y&R spoilers for Wednesday, October 12, 2022, are all about business shenanigans, as Lily Winters continues to lead Devon Hamilton down a path he’s already made clear he’s not ecstatic about, while Elena Dawson reaches the end of her rope, and Billy Abbott continues to make a mess of both his professional and his personal life.

The Y&R Spoilers Highlights

From the beginning, Devon (Bryton James) wasn’t on-board with Jill Foster Abbott’s (Jess Walton) out-of-the-blue idea to take Chancellor-Winters public. It was Lily (Christel Khalil) who insisted on it, and Devon eventually went ahead and agreed, against his better instincts.

Now, Lily wants to push the IPO up because she’s convinced Devon’s long-lost father, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John), is actually in town to steal their company out from under them. Will Devon keep going along to get along, or will he put his foot down. Especially if Lily’s plan involved him spying on his own father.

Lily and Devon don’t know that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) is actually feeding information about the IPO to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). But Elena (Brytni Sarpy) does. She hates the man that Nate has become ever since he traded in his surgical scrubs for the executive suite. Elena has tried talking to Nate, she’s tried reasoning with him. But what if, as her last, final gasp, she actually goes ahead and exposes him?

Billy (Jason Thompson) whined to Lily that he wasn’t fulfilled working for her. He doesn’t know if big business is his purpose in life. You know what your purpose should be right now, Billy? It should be protecting Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) from a more and more unhinged Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). Especially when she has yet another idea about how things should be between her and the uninterested boy.
