Sitting in a jail cell really gives a man time to think. And since Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) had Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) arrested, the Locke-Ness Monster has had time to formulate a plan. He needs to get back at Victor.

He needs to get back at Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). He needs to get his son away from Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). If only there was some way to kill three birds with one stone? Oh, wait…Ashland knows exactly what he needs to do! And who he needs to do it with.

Young & Restless Spoilers: We’ll Do It My Way

No sooner had Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) decided to team up to rid the world of the scourge known as Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) than there was trouble in paradise.

Phyllis wanted to do things her way. Ashley wanted to do things her way. “No” is not a word either woman — or Nikki, for that matter — is familiar with. This partnership may be over before it’s even begun.

Remember when Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) was the playboy about town? Remember when he was a romantic leading man? We’re not sure if even Jack remembers as, these days, all he does is go around and offer his patriarchal advice.

On Tuesday, it was to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). On Wednesday, it will be to Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang). We’re not saying he doesn’t have wise things to say. But we’d also like to see him…do.
