More than one The Young and the Restless fan saw a spark of chemistry when Diane Jenkins ran into Ashland Locke in Katherine Chancellor Park…and they commiserated over what bad days they were having. The two parted with vague thoughts about how they might be able to help each other. And we have a plethora of suggestions for them!

Young and the Restless: Join Forces

We know, we know, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) always wins in the end. Always. But the closest anyone person has come to pulling one over on him is when Diane (Susan Walters) framed his wife for murder – and when Ashland (Robert Newman) took over half of his company.

Sure, Victor now claims he always knew Ashland was playing him, and he never trusted the man for a second. If that were the case, why did he stop Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) from exposing Ashland’s lies and insisted that the wedding to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) must proceed? The fact that Victor is now trying so hard to insist he knew what Ashland was up to all along is, to put it mildly, pathetic.

Maybe Diane and Ashland couldn’t quite bring down Victor on their own, who knows what they’d be capable of if they joined forces?

What do you think? Post a comment!

Tiny Tim

Ashland and Diane also both have a vested interest in Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez). Ashland still considers himself the boy’s father, and Diane would love more time with her grandson. How long before they realize they’d make much better parents for the tot than Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier)?

Young and the Restless: Chemical Romance

The motives are there, the history is there, and the chemistry is there. We say give DiLand a shot and see if they can’t take Genoa City by storm!
