The Young and the Restless Recaps: Monday, July 11
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) signs off on Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) latest pitch for his Grinning Soul podcast – a full account of Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) misdeeds. Billy sets down to record the episode. One of Ashland’s underlings alerts him once said episode is uploaded.
Ashland tries and fails to get convince Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) to let him visit with Harrison (Kellen Enriquez). Diane lets slip to Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) that Ashland is back in Genoa City.
Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) agreed to come aboard Newman Enterprises as the company’s COO. He and the family celebrated with a toast… Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) made it clear to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) that he was putting a moratorium on working at a company bearing the name Newman.
Young and Restless Recaps: Tuesday, July 12
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) receives a dressing down from Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor)… Nick gathers his family and explains his decision to return to Newman Enterprises. Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) is less than enthused at the prospect of taking over his father’s responsibilities at New Hope.
Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) gently cautions Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) to give both Diane and Phyllis a wide berth… Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) convinces Phyllis to abandon her efforts to peacefully co-exist with Diane.

Y&R Recaps: Wednesday, July 13
Adam gauges Ashland’s interest in aligning against the Newmans… Victor orders Sally to cede the CEOship of Newman Media to Adam. Adam refuses to give the prospect any consideration… Victoria makes up her mind to relieve Sally of her duties, but Victor thinks keeping her employed will induce Adam to resign… Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) tells Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) that she’s unable to continue designing for her. But have no fear, she’s outsourcing the job.
Billy floats the idea of bringing Chelsea on board as his podcasts co-host; Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) take to the idea, but Lily is put out. Lily informs Devon that Billy and the Grinning Soul are one and the same. Devon expresses concern that Billy is stretching himself too thin.
Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) receive word that their mother has suffered a minor seizure. Amanda and Devon make plans to pay the ailing woman a visit. Imani leans on Nate.
The Young and the Restless Recaps: Thursday, July 14
Victoria and Victor show a supposedly contrite Ashland no mercy… Adam makes the claim to Victoria that he’s called it quits with Sally… Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) eavesdropped on a conversation between Noah and Allie; she learns that Noah has no desire to continue working at New Hope. Noah and Allie go on their first proper date.
Y&R Recaps: Friday, July 15
Chelsea lets Kyle and Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) know that she’s unable to commit to designing a new line for Marchetti… Billy and Chelsea get to work on a new edition of his podcast… Diane and Harrison happen upon Ashland at Chancellor Park. Diane leaves the two to their own devices…then alerts Michael to goings on. Several concerned parties – Kyle and Summer chief among them – converge with one goal in mind – enforce the restraining order taken out on Ashland.
