Y&R Spoilers for August 24: Adam Gets The ‘Upper Hand’ Against Kevin

Published by

The Y&R spoilers for Wednesday, August 24, 2022, pick up with Adam Newman making it clear why it would benefit Kevin Fisher to work with him against Victor Newman, just as Adam’s pop is explaining to Chance Chancellor why it would benefit him to work, well, for Victor Newman. And while that’s going on, the other Newman player in this web, Nicholas Newman, decides to enjoy what he has.

Y&R Spoilers Highlights

Adam (Mark Grossman) knows the truth about what really happened to Ashland Locke (Robert Newman). Victor (Eric Braeden) told him, smug in the knowledge that there is nothing Adam can do with the information to hurt Victor now that Victor’s man on the Genoa City Police Force — i.e., his son-in-law — has closed the case.

But you know who else is suspicious of Victor? Kevin (Greg Rikaart). He wanted to work with Chance (Conner Floyd). Adam wants Kevin to work with him. And Adam can be very persuasive. Did we say persuasive? We meant threatening. He makes Kevin an offer he can’t — or, at least, shouldn’t — refuse.

Young & Spoilers: The Newman Patriarch

Victor, meanwhile, needs to make certain that Chance will go on keeping his mouth shut. Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) visit made The Mustache a little on edge. So he needs Chance to confirm his loyalty to the clan. Has Victor never heard of quitting while you’re ahead?

Y&R Spoilers: The Elder Newman Son

Nick (Joshua Morrow) completes the trifecta of front-burner Newmans as he grows more and more comfortable in his role back at Newman Enterprises. For a guy who has left multiple times to strike out on his own and prove he’s his own man, one who won’t be controlled by his daddy, he sure sold out quickly, didn’t he? He’s now a company man — and he kind of likes it!
