The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, April 25 reveal a heartbreaking day in Genoa City when the most unexpected news travels through town.
It’s all about Neil and, by extension, his late portrayer, Kristoff St. John, as the people whose lives he touched learn of the character’s death.
A Story That Reaches Everyone
Devon (Bryton James) went to check on Neil when he failed to show up for Society’s big opening, and found his adoptive dad dead.
Devon returned to the club where he filled in Lily (Christel Khalil), Cane (Daniel Goddard), Mattie (Lexie Stevenson), and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry). Lily collapsed in tears as her family supported her.
Ana (Loren Lott) and Jett heard, and Traci (Beth Maitland) filled in Abby (Melissa Ordway). But Neil touched a lot more lives than that!

A recovering alcoholic himself, Neil helped Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) with her drinking problem, and Jack (Peter Bergman) with his addiction to pills.
They both counted on Neil and called him when they feared falling off their respective wagons.

And then there’s Victor (Eric Braeden). He was Neil’s mentor and friend… though he had a tendency to cut Neil out of his life whenever Neil sided with anyone but Victor.
Victor will undoubtedly be hit hard by Neil’s death. And insist on taking over.
