Portia Found Out Finn’s Been Drinking On General Hospital… What Will She Do Next?

After Gregory’s death sent Finn drowning his loss and lashing out at Elizabeth this week on General Hospital, she confided in the last person she should trust with the information on the May 24, 2024 episode.

Regret

At work, Portia (Brook Kerr) offered Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) her condolences about Gregory (Gregory Harrison, who received farewell wishes from his GH castmates), saying Finn (Michael Easton) had called out of work and she was lucky to watch Gregory officiate the wedding the day before. Elizabeth chose not to say much, keeping her distance from the Chief of Staff, concerning Portia.

When the two ended up in the locker together, Portia asked Elizabeth not to leave, begging her friend to confide in her. Elizabeth finally admitted she had caught Finn drinking, then asked Portia not to make her regret telling her. While Portia seemed understanding at first, something about the look on her face said otherwise.

Meeting Time

Meanwhile, at Finn’s apartment, the two brothers shared a heart-to-heart about their dad, and Chase (Josh Swickard) assured Finn that he wouldn’t judge the way his brother was coping with the loss. Finn tearfully asked Chase for a favor and simply said, “Get rid of it.” Chase disposed of the bottle of alcohol Finn had been drinking just before Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) got home with Violet (Jophielle Love, who just released her first single she once performed on GH).

The newlyweds stayed at Finn’s place while he showered and Violet had lunch, Brook Lynn assuring Finn that their family being together was the most important thing at the moment. When she offered to help with anything he needed, he told her, “What I think I need right now is a meeting.”
