The Y&R spoilers for Wednesday, September 1, 2021, say goodbye to summer and hello to fall with a stunning new couple making their public debut, as Victoria Newman learns who’s behind (some) of her fiancé’s troubles, and Victor Newman happily causes more of the same for Billy Abbott.

The Y&R Spoilers Highlights

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) invited Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to be his date at the official launch for Newman Media. Sally said she’d think about it. She thought about it. She said yes.

All eyes are on the pair as they arrive together. Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) are shocked. So is Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). But it’s Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) who goes into complete meltdown, demanding to know how that little schemer can dare show her face in public.

What right does she have to be happy when Phyllis’s daughter is living her best life with the man of her dreams in Europe! Summer’s happiness is what’s keeping her from returning to Genoa City! And that is causing Phyllis grief like no mother has ever felt before. This town ain’t big enough for the both of them!

Y&R: He Started It

Now that Billy knows Victor and Nick (Joshua Morrow) are also digging up dirt on Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi), he can’t wait to tell Victoria. She knew Victor was doing it, though he claimed he’d quit. Nick going along is news.

Victoria confronts her little brother, while Victor does the same with Billy Boy Abbott. Victor wants Billy to stay out of Victoria’s business. This is a family matter. They’re going to bring Locke down themselves, and be Victoria’s heroes. Billy has no morals. Going after a sick man like that. What could be less classy?
