Y&R spoilers have been hinting for weeks that the Nick Newman and Phyllis Summers relationship isn’t as solid as they’d both like to pretend it is. Phyllis has completely lost her mind over her grown daughter choosing to live her own life in another city.

Nick (Joshua Morrow) will miss Summer Newman (Hunter King), too. But the only person indulging Phyllis’s (Michelle Stafford) over the top hysteria is Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), whose son Kyle (Michael Mealor) dared tag along with Summer to Italy.

Almost half of the audience, 46%, expect Nick to take a page from Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) book and throw himself into his work. It’s the only thing that has never let him down. Unlike women. And children. Then again, Nick has a long track record of letting the same woman let him down over and over again. So, at a certain point, it’s on him.

Young and the Restless: Look Who’s Here
Phyllis would not appreciate Nick having sex with any woman who isn’t her. But she would really, really not appreciate his having sex with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), the woman who was responsible for precious Summer getting her dream job and leaving Mummy in the lurch. Phyllis would take that affair particularly personally, which is why 32% expect precisely that to happen.
Y&R Spoilers Speculation: Here We Go Again
Remember what we said about Nick letting the same woman let him down over and over again? Traditionally, when Phyllis does it, he makes a beeline for Sharon (Sharon Case), 22% remind. We’d say it’s a shame she’s currently married to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). But we know he’s not the man standing in the way of a Shick reunion.
