Sally Spectra is still a newer face in town and one with very few connections to Genoa City, well, aside from her friends (ahem, enemies) over in L.A. Y&R spoilers hint a big storyline is coming Sally’s way, and we think we know what is it. We predict a huge twist that brings Sally into one of the family folds.
Y&R Spoilers Wild Speculation
What if that red hair, fiery temper, taste in men, and pull to the small town of Genoa City isn’t a coincidence? What if there is a reason Sally (Courtney Hope) feels rather familiar, and it isn’t because she was a powerhouse in her former city. Could it be that she’s related to her arch-rival, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)?!
Is Phyllis A Mother of Three?
Okay, roll with us, if you will. Phyllis came to town all those years ago a schemer, a baddie, and an all-around nuisance. If she was this big of a problem from the get-go, imagine what she was like in her life before Wisconsin. Did she maybe, just maybe, come to GC because she was running from her problems, and those problems just happen to be a teeny tiny baby she gave up for adoption?
Y&R spoilers tease Sally would be about the right age to have been born before Phyllis appeared on the scene. But wait, that would mean she’s not a signature Spectra! No, friends, we think we have the answer for that too. We think there’s a very, very good reason she was raised in the top designer family.

A Family Connection
What if Sally is the best of both worlds – a Summers and a Spectra? Did Phyllis have an affair with a Spectra man? We don’t know much about Sally, only that she’s the great-niece of the iconic Sally Spectra (Darlene Conley) and granddaughter of Shirley Spectra (Patrika Darbo) and her parents weren’t really around. What if that’s the reason why? Because both Phyllis and her pops decided Shirley was a better choice for a parental figure and stable home?
Could that be the real reason why Sally’s presence rubs Red the wrong way? She doesn’t want this secret getting out and biting her? It’s one thing to have a secret child, it’s another to have them living in your hotel, trying to ruin her favorite daughter’s life, and dating your ex.
If Y&R spoilers confirm this is true, it could be quite a storyline when it comes to light. Y&R hasn’t had a mother/daughter rivalry in quite some time and we’re down for that level of drama. Think this wild speculation could really happen? Let us know in the comments section below.
