The Young and the Restless spoilers raw breakdown for Friday, May 1, 2020, promises a trip through the soap opera time machine to 2009. It’s a day of love and rivalry as Katherine marries the man who would be with her for the rest of her life.
It’s a beautiful trip down the aisle for Katherine (Jeanne Cooper) and Murphy (Michael Fairman). It’s his big introduction to the Genoa City elite and they are more than happy to have him. This is true love and no one can take it away.
No “I Do’s” ever go off without a hitch and the same is true for this wedding. Jill almost misses the nuptials after being tied up (literally, thanks, Nina), and it takes Cane to calm her down. Jill sits and the vows go on.
The reception is elegant and beautiful but there are hitches there too. Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and Amber (Adrienne Frantz) fought a good fight to prove Kay was really Kay and they could pay a big price. No good deed goes unpunished. Can Michael and Mrs. C find a way to save them from their legal woes?
Best man Victor (Eric Braeden) gets a shock when Neil (Kristoff St. John) informs him he’ll be working for Chancellor from now on. Victor’s not one to take defeat.
As if that’s not enough, Victor finds himself in hot water with Jack (Peter Bergman). Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) pregnant and having an awful time. She’s spotting, hearing babies cry, and it seems like she may be sinking. Jack’s worried but Victor stands his ground. Ash is his top priority, you go that?
As for Jack, he has some issues of his own to take tend to. He’s dating a woman with such a familiar face it rubs Paul (Doug Davidson) the wrong way. There’s something about that woman and he’s not the only one who notices.
Billy (then-Billy Miller) should be celebrating being a newlywed himself but instead, he’s pining away for his ex. His marriage to Chloe is just a formality, at least in his eyes.
