The General Hospital recap for Thursday, April 30, 2020, features Carly putting two and two together, Michael losing it in the park, Sonny making Josslyn and Dev’s day, Trina and Cameron returning to the status quo and Brook Lynn threatening Julian.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Carly (Laura Wright) demanded an explanation from Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) for her callous treatment of Michael (Chad Duell). However, she quickly deduced that no actual affair ever took place.

Though she refused to listen to specifics, Carly told Sasha she admired her and her sacrifice – but only in a roundabout way of course.  Meanwhile, Chase (Josh Swickard) seemed poised to come clean to Willow (Katelyn MacMullen)…but she was interested in having a conversation.

Instead, she packed her bags, joined Michael at the park and they each took turns smacking a tree with one of its own fallen branches. Hey, at least it beats hitting Nelle. Kinda.

In Port Charles, It’s Safe To Leave The House

Sonny (Maurice Benard) gathered Josslyn (Eden McCoy), Dev (Ashton Arbab) and Brando (Johnny Wactor) to reveal some news. No, the children weren’t being punished for all the times they snuck away from the estate. The house arrest order has been lifted (yay!) but the teens still have to be chauffeured around town (boo!).

As for Brando, he was free to return to Chicago. After mulling it over, Brando said – in so many words – “Thanks but no thanks.” Despite his initial hesitation, Brando has decided that he likes Port Charles and he wants to stay put. Which was fine by Sonny – and he’s the only person that matters.

Battle Lines

Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Julian (William deVry) had a few things to get straight. It doesn’t matter that he’d rather she not patronize his establishment. It isn’t a big deal that she blackmailed him into threatening her scummy agent.

The only thing that’s important it the fact that Brook Lynn is now convinced that Julian knew about the baby switch all along and that he was indeed the one behind Brad (Shen Perry) and Lucas’ (Ryan Carnes) car accident.

One word from her to “Uncle Sonny” and Julian was a dead man. So he might want to rethink his stance on serving her and soften his attitude.

BFF’s

Trina (Sydney Mikayla) was determined to evaporate the tension that now existed between her and Cameron (William Lipton). So what if they kissed? It was probably just a result of post-traumatic stress syndrome.

She still loved him…but only as a friend. And she still plans to help him win Josslyn’s affection. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
