The Young and the Restless spoilers raw breakdown for Tuesday, June 2, 2020, takes fans back to an Abbott family triumph from September 17, 1999. Jack has a big announcement for his father and it has to do with Jabot.
John (Jerry Douglas) gets quite the surprise when he arrives home in Genoa City and is called straight to the Colonnade room for a party with all their friends and family. But first, Jack (Peter Bergman) has a few things to say in private. He lays out all the cards. Jack reveals they have regained control of Jabot by giving back Newman.
Oh, and it wasn’t just Jack, he got help from anyone who would listen. They have a lot of “thank yous” to give out, including one to none other than Jill (Jess Walton). Oh yes, none of this would happen without the Queen of Schemes.
As for Victor (Eric Braeden), he’s over at Newman doing some serious damage control in the aftermath of the Jabot deal. Ashley stops by and thanks him for not fighting back. The exes make peace, for now.
At the same time, Nick (Joshua Morrow) comes home to a very happy wife. Life is good for the young couple. John has his company, Victor has Newman, and they have each other.
All the while, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) gets cozy with Brad (Don Diamont), which sends Victoria (then-Heather Tom) into a bit of a spiral. Not only is her mom not with her dad, but she’s dining with an enemy. Vicky warns Nikki she’s making a big mistake.
Meanwhile, Paul (Doug Davidson) tries to reign in troubled teen Mackenzie (Clementine Ford). She’s sick of being in the mansion, especially being around Jill. It seems Jill wants her gone and she’s ready to let her have her way.
Expect to see a young Nate over the moon to have Malcolm (Shemar Moore) home. However, his joy turns sour when he finds out Malcolm is not staying. Olivia (Tonya Lee Williams) and Malcolm break the news they are getting a divorce and it breaks the little boy’s heart. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
