Who’s coming and who’s going from the soap opera casts of The Bold and the Beautiful (BB), Days of our Lives (DAYS), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR)?
Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas.
A huge star from yesteryear is heading back to The Young and the Restless. Shemar Moore is reprising his role as Malcolm Winters, next month. It’s a short stint that will see the character reconnect with his biological daughter, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), and nephews, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). The S.W.A.T. star has made several appearances on the soap opera since leaving in 2007, most recently in 2019 when he took part in special episodes honoring the late Kristoff St. John, who played his brother, Neil Winters.
Lily Brooks O’Briant returns as Lucy Romalotti on Thursday, April 13 to pay her father, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei), a visit. She debuted in the role in February.
Meanwhile, a pair of recent returning leading ladies bid farewell to Genoa City. Barbara Crampton departs as Leanna Love and Mishael Morgan exits as Amanda Sinclair.
Louise Sorel is back at the Days of our Lives studio taping scenes as Vivian Alamain. Fans recently got to hear the character when she placed a phone call to her son, Stefan (Brandon Barash), back in February. Sorel last appeared on the soap opera in 2020. During her absence, Vivian was portrayed by soap vets Robin Strasser and Linda Dano.
A pair of day players are back at The Bold and the Beautiful. Hollis W. Chambers pops in as Hollis, the Il Giardino bartender, and Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) smitten suitor, on Friday, April 14.
Camellia Somers makes another appearance as Charlotte, an employee at Forrester Creations. The real-life Granddaughter of Suzanne Somers (Three’s Company) airs on Thursday, April 13.
Dan Buran has wrapped up his story arc as Linc Brown on General Hospital. The character was exposed as a sexual predator by Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) at the show’s annual Nurses’ Ball. Buran has been portraying the sleazy record producer on the soap opera since 2020.
Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) has got a new henchman. Charles Ambrose has been portraying Ambrose.
B&B is one of four soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include Days of our Lives (DOOL), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR). The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
