Amanda Sinclair only met her long-lost half-sister, Imani Benedict, recently on The Young and the Restless, but isn’t she acting like she’s been her bossy older sibling for their entire lives?
Young and the Restless Polling
Not only did Amanda (Mishael Morgan) tell Imani (Leigh-Ann Rose) what to do professionally, but now she’s telling her what to do personally, namely, stop flirting with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). The dude has a live-in girlfriend, for Pete’s sake! But is it time for Amanda to take a step back and let Imani live her life the way she sees fit?
Y&R: Right Turn
Keep doing what you’re doing, Amanda, 71% of the audience urges, because you’re absolutely right. Imani is either setting herself up for a world of heartache, which no sister wants to see, or she’s plotting to ruin the lives of two people who Amanda likes, more or less, Nate and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy).
There are also the tiny details that if Imani lures Nate away from Elena, that will leave Elena free to go after Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) again. She’s proven that she’s incapable of being alone.
Young and the Restless: Stubborn Streak
Amanda may be right, or Amanda may need to back off, but 20% of you know that both sisters are stubborn and neither will back down. Both are going to do whatever they believe is right, which means we’re headed for a major showdown. Which will be fun for us. Not so much fun for the tenuous family they’ve formed.
Y&R: Butt Out
Only 9% are Team Amanda Needs To Mind Her Own Business. This is not her fight to launch. She doesn’t even know Imani well enough yet to understand what her sister is about, what she needs, or how she operates. They’re basically strangers playing at being family. And this is not an optimal way to bond.
