The Y&R spoilers recap for Thursday, October 6, 2022, brings Tucker McCall visiting with Devon Hamilton, and he promises his return is for family, but Devon isn’t so sure.
Y&R Spoilers Recap Highlights
Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) talked to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) at Society. She reported that Dominic was resting well after his illness, and then she wanted the lowdown on the vow renewal from her uncle. Billy told her a bit about the festivities, but his major reveal was Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) dramatic helicopter arrival.

At Chancellor-Winters, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) wrapped up their work day and planned dinner with Billy at Society. But Tucker walked in, surprising them both. He asked them to go to dinner, and Lily begged off, realizing father and son needed some time to reconnect. Luckily for Tucker, Devon agreed. They all walked into Society together, but Lily peeled off to join her boyfriend.
Billy admitted he’d left the vow renewal early due to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). Lily pointed out that Billy was always team Chelsea because they were cut from the same cloth. He admitted that he felt genuine concern for Chelsea right now. Lily looked over at Devon, and Billy wondered if she was worried about her brother, but Lily noted that Tucker’s arrival timing seemed suspect due to Chancellor-Winters going public.
Devon and Tucker grabbed a table, and he asked his son for photos of Dominic. Tucker said some lovely grandpa things, and he asked to meet the baby. Devon agreed that he’d let his dad meet his son, and he noted that he had shared custody with Abby and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd).
Abby approached, and she took Tucker to task over Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). Tucker admitted he’d hoped to earn Ashley’s forgiveness, but Abby warned him away from her mother. When Tucker brought up Dominic, Abby said she hated the thought of him meeting her son even more than she hated the thought of him seeing her mother.
After Abby left, Tucker told Devon not to worry about what Abby said to him as he brought up Abby riding horseback in the nude. He admitted that he wanted to get back into Ashley’s good graces, including Abby and Domonic in his circle. Devon cut straight to it and asked his dad what he’d been doing since they last saw each other in Thailand. Tucker went on about searching for meaning and not finding it, so he started seeking bigger and bigger thrills, including racing the backroads of the Riveria, and he eventually ended up in the hospital in Monte Carlo.
Tucker explained he found a whole new outlook. Devon reminded his dad about his goal to take over every major corporation in Genoa City, and he asked Tucker if his reason for coming back had to do with that. Tucker said no — he wanted to spend time with his son, grandson, and hopefully Ashley. Devon admitted they had a lot of catching up to do, and one dinner wouldn’t be enough to do it. He asked Tucker not to interfere with the Abbotts, and Tucker agreed.
Young and the Restless: Glamorous
Things got tense at The Glam Club with Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) and his ex-girlfriend Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) sensed something was up, but Noah simply said Audra was somebody he used to know, just as Audra called Allie cute and tried to explain their relationship.
Allie wasn’t put off that easily, and Noah got downright snappy with her. She finally lost her temper over Noah being so evasive, so he confessed that Audra was the woman he’d been seeing in London. He denied that Audra broke his heart. Later, they caught up with each other, and Noah wondered why Audra was in Genoa City. She explained that she was helping Chancellor-Winters. As they talked, Allie looked on in concern.
Elsewhere, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) discussed the connection growing between them. She warned Nick that they were headed off a cliff, and then she explained what she meant. Sally revealed that she tended to fall hard and fast without reserve, which doesn’t always have great results. The talk turned to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), and she said she’d thought she loved Adam but wondered if perhaps what they had wasn’t the real deal.
Sally said that what they had would likely end in a fiery crash if they continued moving forward, so she suggested that they put the brakes on. Nick agreed that they could play it safe, but they both agreed it could be boring and unexciting. He said watching Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) vow renewal made him feel hopeful. He suggested that they jump right into the deep end and start swimming.
Nick told Sally that he’d back off if she told him she had more chapters in her story with Adam. Sally expressed her surprise that he’d really do that. Ultimately, though, they arrived at a decision not to define their relationship — they decided to do nothing, which Nick is great at doing. He said whatever they had, he liked it and didn’t want it to end.
Sally walked away, and Noah interrupted Audra to go speak with Nick. Noah wanted to know what his dad was doing with Sally — his sister’s nemesis. Noah pointed out that Sally almost sabotaged Summer and Kyle’s relationship, and he wondered how Summer would react to seeing Nick and Sally out together. Nick told Noah not to create problems where there weren’t any, and Noah said he trusted his dad.
Noah and Allie talked for a moment, and he asked her to dance with him again to help make the evening a completely great night. They went out to the dance floor, and both Noah and Allie had pensive looks on their faces.
Y&R Spoilers Recap: Off The Rails
Chelsea showed up in a daze at Crimson Lights. She was so out of it that Sharon Newman Rosales (Sharon Case) just brought her tea that she didn’t even order. Chelsea expressed her surprise that Sharon was so nice to her, and Sharon credited Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) with helping her see the best in Chelsea.
Chelsea told Sharon the whole tale of telling Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) that they were biological brothers. Sharon tried to spin it positively, but Chelsea wasn’t really having it. She continued to see the worst possible outcome. Sharon asked Chelsea what she wanted from Johnny, learning the news that she was his biological mother. Chelsea said that she didn’t want the little boy to recoil from her name, and she admitted she wanted him to know that she’d always be there for him.
Chelsea pointed out that Sharon was acting as her therapist, and Sharon denied it. Chelsea talked about how Sharon helped her in the aftermath of her stroke even though she didn’t deserve it and said that every time she tried to be a better person, she messed it up. She asked Sharon what her secret was for being such a good person.
Sharon carefully told Chelsea that she was a good person too, and then she admitted that Chelsea needed emergency help that night. Chelsea was shocked at Sharon’s suggestion and lost it. She accused Sharon of trying to make her look bad. Instead of getting help, Chelsea stormed out of Crimson Lights in a rage.
