On The Young and the Restless, Billy Abbott is still working to find himself. He’s been up and down — and down some more — over his years in Genoa City. Here are five fast facts about the youngest Abbott sibling.

Five Fast Young and the Restless Facts About Billy Abbott

1. Billy Abbott was born on July 4, 1993, and, he’s been on-screen most of the time since then. Through the years, at least 12 actors portrayed him (several while he was a baby and toddler). He experienced SORAS in 1999, suddenly becoming 16. By 2018, he was over 40.

2. Billy is the only Abbott sibling whose mother wasn’t Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams). Instead, Jill Foster Abbott (Jess Walton), who married his father, John Abbott (Jerry Douglas), is his mother. This fact may play a role in why he feels like an outsider even in his own family.

3. Billy’s daughter with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), Cordelia Abbott, died after Adam Newman (now Mark Grossman) hit her with his car. However, Billy had left her unattended, which is why she was out where the car could hit her. His living children are Johnny Abbott (biological mom is Chelsea Lawson [Melissa Claire Egan]) and Katie Abbott (mom is Victoria Newman [Amelia Heinle]).

4. He’s been married to three different women. His union with Mackenzie Browning (now Kelly Kruger) was annulled in about a day. He and Chloe remained married for about half a year in 2009, but it didn’t last. Finally, he’s had multiple marriages to Victoria, who appears to be the love of his life despite the fact that he’s in a strong relationship with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) right now.

5. Billy struggles with a gambling addiction. He’s overcome it and slid back into it more than once. Billy also has suffered other mental issues, and his personality seemed to split at one point, evidenced when he was chewing gum. Now, he’s finding talking through things in his new podcast series helpful in keeping his mind right.
