The Y&R spoilers for Friday, October 7, 2022, promise Nikki Newman learning more about Diane Jenkins…and none of it is good, at least as far as Nikki is concerned. Meanwhile, Chelsea Lawson puts a new plan into motion, just as Billy Abbott makes yet another of his famous promises.
The Y&R Spoilers Highlights
You gotta feel sorry for Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). She travels all the way out to Los Angeles, and comes face to face with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), the ex-husband who has the best odds of pushing Nikki off the wagon of anybody, only to gather a random stray crumb about Diane (Susan Walters): Diane once drove around in a fancy car with a guy. Ooooh! Scandalous!

Now that she’s back in Genoa City, though, a more incriminating tidbit just falls into her lap. Nikki and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) are already convinced that Diane has a connection to Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). Now that there’s more proof, they feel they know everything they need to in order to prove that the woman is a lying liar who lies who should be ridden out of town on a proverbial rail.

Young & Restless Spoilers: Don’t Try This At Home
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) swore to Billy (Jason Thompson) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) that she would let Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) set the pace of their relationship and not try to push a meeting. Well, Chelsea is not known for her fine grasp of the truth. Of course, she pushes it, and, of course, it doesn’t go well.
Y&R Spoilers: Bad Timing
This is not a good time for Billy to promise to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) that he will stay away from his baby mama or to Victoria that he will keep Chelsea away from Johnny. It’s not that Billy doesn’t mean what he says in the moment. It’s that he’s…forgetful. And kind of spineless.
