The Y&R spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 8, 2022, brings questions from Nate Hastings as Nick Newman brings him into the fold with Victor Newman about Ashland Locke’s deception. Plus, Victoria Newman Locke vows revenge, Chance Chancellor opens up to his wife, Noah Newman shows up with a new woman, and Faith Newman asks Mariah Copeland and Tessa Porter about love.
At Society, Nick (Joshua Morrow) told Nate (Sean Dominic) the “rumors” about Ashland (Robert Newman) faking his cancer. Nate didn’t believe Nick at all. In fact, he warned his friend that somebody was making stuff up. However, Victor (Eric Braeden) showed up, and he told Nate that all the rumors were true.
The three men went to Newman Media, and Victor showed Nate the video of doctors stating they’d received big money to fake Ashland’s cancer diagnosis. However, Nate noted that it was incredibly unethical for doctors to talk about a patient. Plus, he pointed out that he’d been there many times when Ashland experienced symptoms. Nate warned The Mustache that he’d been had, but Victor assured the good doctor that they had incontrovertible proof of Ashland’s fraud.
Meanwhile, Ashland ran damage control with Victoria (Amelia Heinle), and she told her husband she couldn’t see her father making this up vindictively. Even so, Victoria vowed revenge on her father for believing something so heinous about Ashland. She ran straight to Newman Media and burst in on her father, Nick, and Nate. This time Victor has gone too far, and Victoria let him know. Uh oh.
At the Chancellor Mansion, Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Chance (Conner Floyd) enjoyed some mommy and daddy time while Dominic was away. Because Chance felt so drained after his therapy, they didn’t get to have a fancy date though.
However, while basking in the afterglow in front of the fire, Chance opened up to Abby. He liked his therapist, but he just couldn’t stand to “get over” what happened in Spain. After all, don’t all those guys who died deserve to be remembered and stay with him? Chance doesn’t want to betray them yet again by moving on.
Finally, Faith (Reylynn Caster) asked Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) all about love and long-distance relationships. She noted that things with Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines) were perfect, but she worried about college.
At Crimson Lights, Noah (Rory Gibson) showed up with a brand new woman who ended up raising Sharon Rosales’s (Sharon Case) eyebrows. No, she’s not the person from high school that Noah mentioned the other day. In fact, they just literally bumped into each other, leading to their date.
Faith showed up, and she decided to vet Noah’s date after warning her brother that taking a chance on love required bravery (a line she’d heard from Mariah and Tessa). Then, wouldn’t you know it…Tessa showed up too. Not surprisingly, Noah’s date was Tessa’s biggest fan, and she fangirled to a very gracious Tessa. When Mariah came downstairs, Noah once again found himself on the outside when the woman wanted all the details on “Teriah” straight from the women themselves.
