The recap for Tuesday, November 7, 2023, had Victor decide that Nate was the traitor at Newman Enterprises and firing him on the spot.

Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Also in this episode, Abby supported Devon as he worried about work and family. Lily and Daniel connected before Sally and Chloe met him to design his new apartment. Heather and Lucy arrived in Genoa City. Now, let’s dig deeper into what happened.

Nate Hastings, You’re Fired

At Newman, Victor (Eric Braeden) told his family that his mental state had been precarious and he had been in denial. Now, he planned to do something about it. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) wasn’t happy to hear her husband say that.

However, Adam (Mark Grossman) was encouraged to see Victor getting some help. Of course, Victor wasn’t pleased that Adam had tricked him into seeing a doctor. Victor also apologized to Nick (Joshua Morrow) for how he’d treated him.

Victor insisted that Newman Enterprises was the top priority, but everybody else noted that his health should come first. Nate (Sean Dominic) revealed he’d found a place where Victor could be examined — a private clinic complete with a press strategy, but Adam didn’t agree. Instead, Adam wanted to keep everything in-house to ensure the press didn’t catch wind of anything.

Nikki urged caution, though. She felt that they should wait for a diagnosis before making decisions. Surprisingly, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) agreed with Adam, while Nate continued pushing to send Victor away. Victoria wondered what would happen if Victor was gone for that, and Nate said that logically, Victoria would step back in as CEO.

At that, Victor asked Nikki if it was time to drop the whole charade, and Nikki noted it was past time. Victor leaned forward and fired Nate.

Family Matters

At the penthouse, Daniel (Michael Graziadei) told Lily (Christel Khalil) that she was a genius for recommending Sally as his designer. He asked if she was still okay with him living only a few floors away, and Lily pointed out it was a little late to ask. Daniel merely wanted her to be as excited as he was. Kissing him, she said she was really, really happy. They had some time to kill and made out.

Devon (Bryton James) stopped by Society to see Abby (Melissa Ordway) and filled her in on the good news about Aria. He admitted he was feeling a little unsettled by all the change happening those days. She was confused. He was primarily worried about Mamie and the company. Abby said that maybe working things out with Nate could be positive. He thought that was for the future and couldn’t be forced, and she was supportive.

Devon went to the penthouse to see his sister. They talked about their aunt’s plans. Devon wasn’t sure Mamie was being totally honest. Lily thought Mamie might be to push Jill out, so their family was the sole owner of Chancellor-Winters, but he couldn’t see Mamie taking down Jill, and Tucker wasn’t giving away any details. Ultimately, Devon didn’t want to worry about his father anymore. Plus, the Nate issue was moot because he was happy where he was. In the end, Lily and Devon agreed to try with Nate, and Devon texted his cousin to meet for a drink.

Here’s To New Beginnings

Heather (Vail Bloom) and Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant) arrived at the GCAC and smiled. Lucy hoped her dad found her somewhere else to live since The Club felt temporary. They had both missed being in Genoa City, and Lucy had really missed her father. Later, Heather called Daniel to ask if he’d found them a place to stay.

Sally (Courtney Hope) joined Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) at Crimson Lights and was happy to see her looking so chipper. She revealed she was on her way to see her new client, Daniel. As they talked, Chloe assumed that Sally’s good cheer was because she was back with Nick. Sally said things were fine professionally but not personally.

Sally said it was time for her to embrace her new career, and she wanted to get her spark back. They giggled about that. Chloe was thrilled about her plans for her life as long as they didn’t include Adam.

Before Chloe could open up about her problems, Daniel wandered in to join them. Chloe was happy to see him again. He had to walk off and take a call. Sally asked Chloe to come with her to Daniel’s to talk about how to design his space, and Chloe had time, so she agreed.

Daniel brought Chloe and Sally to his new place. They talked about what kind of living space he wanted. Lucy showed up. He was thrilled. Heather filed in after her, kissing his cheek. They teased him about his new place, and he told his daughter she had her own room. Soon, Sally and Chloe left.

Daniel felt amazed his ex and daughter were back. He said he found them a nearby place available in a month and a half. He promised his daughter she was welcome to stay with him for as long as she wanted. Later, Lily joined them, surprised to see Heather and Lucy back in town.

Chloe and Sally went to Crimson Lights. Sally missed working together, and Chloe admitted things weren’t going well at Marchetti.
