The General Hospital spoilers for the Friday, May 10 episode include investigations, propositions, confrontations, and even a flirty competition. Sounds like a sassier-than-normal Friday of drama, romance, and more drama.
The Carly Problem
While John (Adam J. Harrington — whose character ran into Lois recently) has shown Carly (Laura Wright) his softer side, her latest stunt may have the exact opposite effect. After eavesdropping on Jason (Steve Burton) and John, Carly took it upon herself to visit Brennan (Charles Mesure) at Pentonville. The conversation didn’t really accomplish much…except to clue in the former WSB director on John Cates’ FBI investigation into Pikeman. He and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) were wondering which of the alphabet agencies were coming after them. Now they know.
John got the call that Carly paid Brennan a visit, so leave it up to him to confront Jason about his bestie. Will he use the leverage he has over Jason to get him to rein in Carly?
The Sonny Solution
For some reason, Ava (Maura West) is now choosing to investigate Sonny’s medication. Granted, she did her due diligence and had the meds tested. But since she’s known that they’ve been tampered with, she’s done nothing. Does she decide to turn into Nancy Drew because she thinks if she saves the day for Sonny (Maurice Benard), her place in his precious inner circle will stand? Meanwhile, Sonny has a proposition for Natalia (Eva LaRue). Does he decide to take her to the wedding festivities? If so, Blaze’s mom is getting exactly what she wants.
The Dex Factor
Anna (Finola Hughes) takes her PCPD Commissioner job very seriously. First, she is about to have dinner with Valentin in order to suss out his increasingly powerful role in Pikeman. Second, she checks in with Dex (Evan Hofer) about the PCPD. Is she making sure her recruit made the right decision? Does he tell her how Sonny saw him training, and he didn’t look happy?
Later, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Dex share a little flirty competition. Are these two about to reunite? And what kind of competition? Joss is in search of a new purpose in life since she decided not to become a doctor after all. Will she gravitate towards the right side of the law, too? (GH’s Alley Mills celebrates a birthday here)
