The Young and the Restless recaps for July 18 – July 22, 2022, feature a villain pushed to his limits, three rivals uniting against a common foe, and so much more.

The Young and the Restless Recaps: Monday, July 18

Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) is arrested for violating the restraining order against him. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) visits his jailed rival and puts him on notice… The Newman brood, sans Adam (Mark Grossman), greets the press and announces Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) return to the top spot at the company. The family – again, sans Adam – concurs that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) should be fired from her position at Newman Media posthaste.

After receiving a concurring second opinion, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) readies for the surgery that will remove the nodules on her vocal cords… Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) reveals his future plans – turn Top of the Tower into a 70s-themed club… Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) seems to get wise to Diane Jenkins’s (Susan Walters) subterfuge.

Young and Restless Recaps: Tuesday, July 19

Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) finds Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) willingness to forgive Diane and refusal to make allowances for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) disturbing… Phyllis, Ashley, and Nikki join forces proving the veracity of the adage, “the enemy of my enemy is my friend.”

Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) and Noah share their first kiss… Adam makes a point of disentangling himself from Sally in the most hurtful way possible… Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria meet with Sally, intending to relieve her of her job; Sally puts forth a stirring argument for retaining her; Nicholas seems moved.

Y&R Recaps: Wednesday, July 20

Ashland makes it clear to Adam that he is neither interested in joining forces with him to stick it to the Newmans nor is he interested in striking out against the family on his own. Adam is left with the distinct impression that Ashland intends to target Victoria and Victoria alone; Adam seriously considers warning his sister of the potential danger.

Victoria and Nicholas agree to keep Sally in her current role but on a 90-day trial period. Sally reveals her intention to hire Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) as the division’s COO… Victoria and Nichols catch sight of Nikki, Ashley, and Phyllis scheming…

The Young and the Restless Recaps: Thursday, July 21

Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) proposes buying The Grand Phoenix from Phyllis; Phyllis declines the generous offer… Adam warns Victor that the family needs to be wary of Ashland. Victor poo-poos the notion; Adam warns Nicholas and Victoria likewise. Ashland trails Victoria… Noah readies himself to tell Nicholas that he’s not interested in running New Hope… Allie makes it clear to Ashley that she doesn’t intend to allow herself to be used by Diane…or anyone for that matter.

Y&R Recaps: Friday, July 22

Nicholas accepts Noah’s decision. Noah and Allie go on their first official date… Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) delights over a stinging confrontation between Adam and Sally. Chelsea is put out to learn that Sally and Chloe are working together at Newman Media… Against her better judgment, Victoria allows Ashland into her home when he comes-a-calling.
