The Young and the Restless recaps for March 6 – March 10, 2023, featured successes and subterfuge aplenty, and so much more.
Jack (Peter Bergman) presents a hesitant Diane (Susan Walters) with a ring, and she finally relents. Yes, she’ll marry him…Phyllis (Michell Stafford) comes to in Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) suite. Jeremy recounts how he rescued Phyllis after she drunkenly collapsed in the middle of the street, then tries to conscript her to his cause.
Kyle (Michael Mealor) is chagrined to hear Billy (Jason Thompson) say that he’s championing Jack and Diane’s reconciliation… Billy clues Phyllis in on Jack and Diane’s deepening bond. Phyllis throws her all behind Jeremy.
Sally (Courtney Hope) tells Summer (Allison Lanier) that she’s pregnant, that Adam (Mark Grossman) is the father, and that she and Nick (Joshua Morrow) still intend to make a go of things. Summer accuses Sally of using Nick to protect her from Adam…Adam assured Nick that he intended to do right by him, Sally, and her baby.
Adam blanches when he learns that Billy and Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) bond has progressed beyond friendship. Sharon (Sharon Case) tries to get Adam on the straight and narrow…Nate (Sean Dominic) eavesdrops on Lily (Christel Khalil) bemoaning her and Devon’s (Bryton James) estrangement and the upcoming court case with Daniel (Michael Graziadei). Afterward, he asks to speak with Daniel in private…Kyle’s suggestion that Summer accepts Sally and Nick’s relationship is soundly rejected. Nick tries to work things out with Summer, but fails to gain much traction.
Nate asks Daniel to help him bridge the gap between Lily and Devon; Daniel suggests that Nate stay well and truly out of it. Lily is less than pleased to learn of Nate’s intrusion into her personal affairs…Tucker (Trevor St. John) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) share a passionate kiss.
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) tries to ascertain whether or not Devon intends to purchase McCall Unlimited, but Devon hedges…Adam tells Victor that he’s willing to head McCall Unlimited, but only on the proviso that the company remains an entity separate from Newman Enterprises.
Diane’s daydream about the perfect wedding winds up a nightmare courtesy of Jeremy’s appearance. Diane worries that it’s a sign of things to come…Phyllis learns of Diane and Jack’s location and apprises Jeremy of the fact…Billy informs Chelsea that he’s going to accept Jack’s offer to return to Jabot as his co-CEO…Devon and Tucker talk shop.
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Summer resolve to play matchmaker for Adam and Sally…Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Sharon ask Chelsea and Billy some pointed questions, respectively…Nikki convinces Michael (Christian Le Blanc) and Lauren (Tracey Bregman) to agree to handle the catering for the upcoming Genoa City bicentennial gala, then tries to talk Michael into sabotaging Victoria’s efforts to buy McCall Unlimited; Michael begs off.
