Y&R spoilers just recently teased that Jack Abbott proposed to Diane Jenkins. He did not sing the little ditty about them, which made us sad. Diane first said no and listed all the reasons why they shouldn’t. Then she said yes. And Jack acted like he hadn’t heard any of them.

But we heard them. And they made us concerned. They made us wonder whether Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walters) will ever make it down the aisle. Here’s what almost 2,000 fans expect to see happen:
Come on Down, Diane Jenkins
Oh, this will happen, 7% of the audience predicts. If only so we can enjoy the sight of Phyllis’s (Michelle Stafford) head exploding. And of Summer (Allison Lanier) trying to play peacemaker between her mom and her husband. And Kyle (Michael Mealor) whining to Jack about not being listened to. Heck, we might even get to see Allie (Kelsey Wang) again for the occasion!
Up To You, Jack Abbott
Jack will marry Diane…as long as Jeremy (James Hyde) doesn’t put a stop to it. You see, 19% of voters speculate this is the only obstacle they face. For instance, you suspect that Diane is actually already legally married to Jeremy.

She may have thought she divorced him during his stint in prison, but that’s a tough thing to do when you are not using your own name. And even if that’s not the case, we bet Jeremy has plenty he can blackmail her over. Which is destined to leave poor Jack brokenhearted. Again.
