The Young and the Restless Recaps: Monday, April 10

Sharon (Sharon Case) counsels Kyle (Michael Mealor) on how to best be there for Summer (Allison Lanier)…Summer and Daniel (Michael Graziadei) debate who is responsible for their mother’s death: Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) or Diane (Susan Walters).

Billy (Jason Thompson) warned Jack (Peter Bergman) that the scuttlebutt around town is that Diane is to blame for what happened to Phyllis…Ashley (Eileen Davidson) takes Jack to task for his continued support of Diane…Tucker (Trevor St. John) does his utmost to convince Ashley that they should indeed wed. Ashley hedges.

Young and the Restless Recaps: Tuesday, April 11

Chance (Conner Floyd) reports to Christine (Lauralee Bell) that “Phyllis’s” blood tests indicated a fatal level of alkaloids…Christine confides in Lauren (Tracey Bregman) that her marriage to Paul is over.

Summer and Jeremy insist to Chance that Diane is the one responsible for Phyllis’s “death.” Chance shares with Summer the results of Phyllis’s blood work. Summer insists that Chance position himself in an advantageous position during Phyllis’s memorial. Chance stumbles upon a commercial bottle of strychnine in Phyllis’s hotel room.

Phyllis is alerted that her memorial service will be held in the Neil Winters Jazz Lounge…Devon (Bryton James) stuns Tucker with his decision to not purchase McCall Unlimited. Victor (Eric Braeden) preens upon being apprised of the development.

Y&R Recaps: Wednesday, April 12

Diane, Jack, and Kyle decry Summer’s choice of location for Phyllis’s memorial service…Phyllis disguises herself as waitstaff and infiltrates the Athletic Club…Summer sharply rebukes Sally (Courtney Hope) who decides to forgo joining Nick (Joshua Morrow) at the service. Instead, she and Adam (Mark Grossman) have a coffee klatch. Sally extends to Adam an invitation to join her and Nick at her next doctor’s appointment.

Jeremy darkened the memorial service and used the opportunity to publicly accuse Diane of harming Phyllis; he’s promptly escorted off the premises…Danny (Michael Damian) surprises Daniel by showing up at the memorial service with Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant) at his side…Summer, Nick, Jack, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Lauren (Tracey Bregman) and Michael (Christian Le Blanc), and Lucy all eulogize Phyllis…Chance is alerted to the news that Diane [supposedly] purchased the strychnine that poisoned Phyllis.

Summer pointedly forced Diane to make a speech in honor of Phyllis…Danny gives is his tribute via song…Daniel finally finds his voice and speaks about Phyllis…Chance places Diane under arrest on suspicion of murder…Devon (Bryton James) welcomed Abby(Melissa Ordway) to her new home…Victoria (Ameila Heinle) intuits that Audra (Zuleyka Silver) is gunning for Nate’s (Sean Dominic) job; she warns Nate to be wary. Later, Victoria and Nate are ready to make love atop her desk while Audra eavesdrops outside the door.

When Phyllis expresses a desire to renege on their agreement Jeremy threatens to make her faked death a reality…Christine cautions Jack that the evidence is stacked against Diane…Kyle and Summer disagree on whether or not Diane is actually guilty of murdering Phyllis… Nick deduces what transpired between Nate and Victoria…Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) introduce Aria to Sharon, Elena (Brytni Sarpy), Sally, and Adam.
