Only 1% see Summer (Allison Lanier) as the guilty party. She only wants to protect Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Harrison Locke Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) from Diane (Susan Walters) and her scummy associates. The fact that Kyle can’t see the danger they’re in is on him.
The Young and the Restless: It Takes Two To Tango
A more substantial 12% find plenty of blame to go around. Yes, Summer is right to be worried about Diane, but Kyle isn’t wrong that Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) caused a lot of their current predicament, and that he should be protecting his mom, not pointing fingers.

Kyle Abbott and Summer Newman: From a Certain Point Of View
An even larger 23% of The Young and the Restless audience don’t think either one of them needs to be wrong. They both see the situation for what it is. The difference is in how to deal with it. Summer wants Phyllis gone. Kyle wants Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) gone. They should be working together, not against each other. Win-win is the objective!
Y&R: Bad Son
Step off, Kyle, the majority 64% have spoken. Your mother is trash, your father is trash for falling for her act, and you’re trash for siding with her over your wife. None of this would have happened if Diane had stayed “dead.” How dare you yell at Summer for wishing things were the way they were before? Beg her forgiveness, instead!
