Y&R Recap: Family Ties
Jill (Jess Walton) was happy to see Devon and Lily (Christel Khalil) sitting together. Devon let Jill know he planned to drop the lawsuit. Of course, everything wasn’t solved. Ultimately, rebuilding their trust would take a while. Jill wondered if Devon was considering walking away from Chancellor-Winters, and he urged her to take things one step at a time.
Later, Lily and Devon looked at the photo of their dad and wished he was there. They talked about all the things Neil would do if he was there like turning up the music and asking Lily to dance.

Nate (Sean Dominic) happily told Elena (Brytni Sarpy) that it looked like Devon and Lily were back on speaking terms. She reminded her boyfriend that anything was possible regarding forgiveness. Elena let Nate know that she realized his mind was working overtime, and he wanted to know what happened with his cousins.
Elena encouraged him to let go of the guilt he felt over Devon and Lily’s fight. Ultimately, Nate admitted that he just wanted to get Elena home, but before that, he wanted to take a spin on the dance floor.
Young and the Restless: Ties That Bind
Adam (Mark Grossman) updated Sharon (Sharon Case) on how things went with Victor (Eric Braeden) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle). He loved that he’d gotten under Victoria’s skin. Sharon encouraged Adam to focus on celebrating Genoa City and friendship.
Adam wondered if Sharon was waiting for a specific dance partner. He thought perhaps Sharon was waiting for Chance, and she noted that maybe he’d be there later. Adam offered to be Sharon’s wingman. She pointed out that Chance was Rey’s partner and reiterated that they were just friends. Adam told his ex she deserved happiness.
Sharon reminded Adam that she had a full life and noted that in a few months, Aria (presumably her granddaughter!) would make things interesting and loud. He agreed, reminding her that he’d have a little one running around soon too.
Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sally (Courtney Hope) returned from some time on the rooftop. He asked her to dance, and they got out on the dance floor as Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) looked on unhappily.
Later, Adam watched as Nick caressed Sally’s baby bump, and he flashed back to telling Sally he missed their friendship.
Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki sat down with Esther (Kate Linder), and they reminisced about Katherine. They all agreed they missed Kay and made a toast to her.
Young and the Restless Recap: Nina Webster Surprises Genoa City
Nina (Tricia Cast) surprised Christine (Lauralee Bell) by showing up at the gala. They sat at the bar and toasted each other. Nina brought up Dominic, and they chatted about the difficulties of visitation agreements. It seemed Chance (Conner Floyd) was on a stakeout. Christine let Nina know that a retired Paul was in Portugal, spending time with Heather and Lucy, and she didn’t seem pleased.
Jack (Peter Bergman) was looking around when Billy (Jason Thompson) walked up to him with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). He excused himself with a vague reason. Billy checked in with Chelsea, and she seemed a little on edge. Leanna (Barbara Crampton) walked up, and she wanted to know all of Chelsea’s stories.
Leanna listed off Chelsea’s romantic past. Billy pushed back a bit, and Chelsea stayed quiet. However, Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) walked in and took Chelsea away. Billy told Leanna to find somebody else to annoy.
Chelsea thanked Chloe for coming, and when Billy walked up, Chloe took Billy to task for not protecting Chelsea enough. Chloe excused herself to go keep an eye on Esther. Billy apologized to Chelsea, and she left, crying.
Billy followed her out, and he encouraged Chelsea to focus on the moment they were in. He suggested they go home, but she wanted him to stay. Billy insisted that if she went home, he was going too.
Summer (Allison Lanier) and Daniel (Michael Graziadei) continued worrying about Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). He left to look for their mom. Jack walked over to Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Summer, and he alerted them that Jeremy (James Hyde) may have bumped into him.
Upstairs, Diane (Susan Walters) looked for Kyle, and of course, he wasn’t there. Phyllis was there, and Diane warned her to get out of her way. She ranted that Phyllis achieved a new low by tricking her claiming Kyle was sick. Diane tried to leave, but Phyllis shoved her, keeping her from exiting.
Diane wondered if Phyllis wanted a catfight, and then she lorded her engagement announcement over Phyllis. She taunted that she wouldn’t be going anywhere, and Phyllis agreed she wouldn’t.
Kyle ran into Traci (Beth Maitland), and he asked her if she’d seen Diane. Traci hadn’t, but Leanna let Kyle know that Diane went upstairs after chatting with Phyllis. She wondered how it felt having his mother return from the dead, and Kyle didn’t appreciate her questioning.
Kyle found Summer, and he let her know that Leanna saw Diane going upstairs. Summer noted that Phyllis had disappeared too. Jack, Summer, and Phyllis compared notes, and Summer said the front desk told her Phyllis had a room, so they went upstairs.
Phyllis ranted at Diane over the past, including burning down the poolhouse, and more. Diane wondered if Phyllis wanted a blanket apology, and Phyllis wondered why Diane didn’t just stay dead. Phyllis said she was the only one who saw through Diane’s act, and she told Diane she should be terrified of her.
Phyllis listed everything Diane had tried to take from her. Diane thought Phyllis was delusional, but Phyllis said not to pity her. Phyllis predicted that eventually, Diane would expose herself. “That’s enough,” Diane yelled. “There is only one evil bitch in this room, and I am looking right at her.”
Diane said she wasn’t the one to blame for Phyllis’s destructive behavior. She tried to leave, and Phyllis grabbed her arm. Diane slapped her, and they tussled. Jack, Summer, and Kyle walked in as Diane was strangling Phyllis.
Young and the Restless Recap: Don’t Do It, Nina Webster
Traci caught up with Nina, and as they talked, Nina saw Abby (Melissa Ordway) laughing with Daniel, and she wasn’t pleased. Nina told Traci her latest novel storyline, and it seemed like Chance and Abby’s story. She wondered if Chance skipped the gala to avoid his ex-wife. Nina wasn’t at all happy about Abby breaking Chance’s heart, and she wanted to say her piece to the younger woman. Traci warned her not to, but Nina didn’t listen.
Nina walked over and asked Daniel to give her a moment alone with Abby. “How could you,” Nina asked. Of course, she didn’t give Abby time to explain herself. Nina vowed to never get past what Abby did to Chance.
Jill found Christine and Nina after the confrontation, and she cheered Nina on in stirring up trouble. Of course, they reminded Nina of Philip Chancellor III, who was Christine’s boyfriend originally. Ultimately, Nina admitted she was right. Esther and Chloe also joined in. Nina said she’d experienced growth, and they agreed with a toast.
Later, Jill went to see Victor, and she said farewell. He was surprised she was leaving already, and Jill said that Devon planned to drop the lawsuit. Victor expressed his surprise at how quickly it happened. Of course, Jill didn’t know if Devon would buy McCall Unlimited or not, but Victor reminded her that he had a lot of patience.
Devon found Abby and updated her on his talk with Lily. She was happy to hear he’d dropped the lawsuit. Elsewhere, Lily updated Daniel on the good news, too. She asked him to dance.
