Stay In Your Lane, Cane: Should He Return To The Young and the Restless?

Cane left The Young and the Restless in order to prove that he wasn’t involved in Colin’s scheme to steal Devon’s inheritance. That story is long over. Does it mean it’s time for Cane (Daniel Goddard) to return to Genoa City? Over 3,000 viewers shared their thoughts with us:

The Young and the Restless Polling

A majority 45% of the audience would like to see the Awesome Aussie come back home… but not quite yet. The canvas isn’t in the perfect position yet. Lily (Christel Khalil) and Billy (Jason Thompson) are still just at the beginning stages of their relationship.

They need to be a lot more attached before Cane can throw a monkey wrench into their love. Right now, it’s easy to imagine Billy and Lily going their separate ways, no hard feelings. We’re soap fans. We want some serious hard feelings.

Victory Day

A smaller 30% of you would like to see Cane again… but with Victoria (Amelia Heinle), not Lily. First of all, the two always had great chemistry together. There’s already been kissing. But, most importantly, it would really, really annoy Billy and Lily.

And considering how smug both are acting these days as if they’ve discovered couplehood and no one else has ever come close to getting it right the way they inevitably will, it’s something they really deserve. Hard feelings all around!

Fight Song

In the last place is the 25% that is still rooting for Cane and Lily to reunite. It’s not just that they have kids together or a history. It’s that they are hot in a way Billy and Lily never will be. This is a couple that sizzles. They’re so good together they don’t need to constantly be telling other people how happy they are. It’s obvious.
