We’ve been told that Lily and Billy are now a couple on The Young and the Restless. We haven’t seen that much evidence of it, but, sure, they’re a couple, why not?

An almost majority 47% think this is the Genoa City couple of the future. They’re both the scions of long-term, core families, and they have oodles in common! They’re both employed by the same company.

They both believed Billy (Jason Thompson) was innocent of shooting Chance (Donny Boaz). They’re both very, very attractive. Is there any other reason why a couple wouldn’t be destined to walk into the sunset together? Unless Lily goes to jail again. Or Billy goes back to chewing gum…
Back To the Beginning Billy
Then again, a slightly smaller 43% of you are convinced that this is only a brief pit-stop for Billy before he and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) reunite. Like they always do. They have kids together. Victoria was pretty sure Billy was innocent of shooting Chance. And they are equally pretty together. Plus, Victor (Eric Braeden) hates the idea of Victoria spending the rest of her life with Billy. That’s the best reason of all.
Short-Term
A last-place 10% of the audience don’t see this as a good match. Sure, they’re pretty, and we’ll believe the sex is great. But what do they ever talk about except work, Billy being a screw-up, Lily being his keeper, and how their exes leave much to be desired? They don’t even seem to be great friends, more friendly co-workers, than lovers. Once the novelty wears off, what will be left? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
