I See You: Is Y&R’s Victor Newman Right About Tucker McCall?

It doesn’t matter how many times Tucker McCall tells Victor Newman that what he is doing back on The Young and the Restless is none of his business, Victor still seems obsessed with exposing the bad man for all his badness.

Victor (Eric Braeden) is kind of like Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) in that way. But he is Victor, right? Is Tucker (Trevor McCall) here to take over Chancellor-Winters? That’s Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) goal, too!

Let’s lay our cards on the table, 83% of you sigh. Victor is always, always, ALWAYS right. No matter how crazy his conjecture is, it’s proven to be accurate in the end. So why should this time be any different? If Victor says Tucker is up to no good, then Tucker is up to no good, full stop.

We already know he’s scheming with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). And we know that he’s interested in reuniting with Ashley, not to mention hanging with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and getting to know his grandson, Dominic. So if Victor says all of the above is bad, then, well, thank you, Victor, for enlightening us. We don’t know what we’d do without you!

Victor Newman: Either Way

Victor is probably right, 13% of fans hedge. He is Victor, after all. But you’re not ready to fully commit yet. Maybe Tucker is up to something terrible…but what if it’s not the terrible thing Victor has in mind. Like, he’s still right, of course, but about the wrong thing. That would still count…right?

Young & The Restless: Rare Miss

Less than 4% are willing to go out on a limb and consider the possibility of Victor maybe being off the mark this time. After all, he hasn’t left his living room chair in weeks. He doesn’t have the kind of power and scope he used to. He’s getting all of his information secondhand. And that’s not the Victor we know and periodically tolerate.
