Deceased characters rising from their graves have become the norm on soaps. Nevertheless, The Young and the Restless bringing back Susan Walters as the late Diane Jenkins was a bit of a shocker.
Susan Walters Returns To Y&R
The character, last played by General Hospital’s Maura West (Ava Jerome), was pronounced dead after an altercation with Nikki in 2011. Now Walters, who portrayed Diane from 2001 to 2004 and briefly in 2010, is back in the intriguing role.
A consummate performer, whose credits include an array of film and popular primetime series, including regular roles on Melrose Place, The Vampire Diaries, Teen Wolf, and more, Walters will be bringing the drama as Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) rebellious ex.
