The Young and the Restless seems to be spinning in circles at the moment, with stories refusing to budge and characters having the same conversation over and over again.

The Young and the Restless Polling

Which blast from the past should come back to Genoa City and really shake up the status quo? What over 2,000 voters want to see happen:

Romantic Interest

Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) needs to stop pouting about his lost love from England… and stop weirdly obsessing over his ex-girlfriend… who is now his sister’s fiancee. Move on, dude. And we have just the woman for you. Bring Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) back from Florida, and pair her with Noah. Sure, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) is copacetic with his wife’s kid. But will he remain equally chill when Noah is messing around with Rey’s baby sister? It might even give him and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) something new to talk about, too, 44% suggest.

Missing Child

While Victor Newman is focused on Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) can prove that turnabout is fair play by going out to look for Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton), the son she doesn’t share with Victor. Hasn’t Dylan been missing in action for an awfully long time, 24% are wondering. He’d give Sharon and Rey something to talk about too!

Young and the Restless: Sister Act

With Dylan back, why not bring Avery Bailey Clark (Jessica Collins) back too, 22% propose. She can hang out with him. Or with Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow). Does it really matter?

Bad News

There’s always Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), 10% shrug. She’s back on The Bold and the Beautiful, so why not a return visit to Genoa City, too? There’s always Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey Bregman) to torment. And another secret child to produce. Y&R is currently dull. Sheila is never dull.
