Tara is Harrison’s biological mom. She’s also the perfect person to shake up the Abbotts on The Young and the Restless. Tara would be the most perfectly perfect person to cause chaos among Kyle and his ex-wife, Summer.
Harrison’s Real Mommy
Harrison (Redding Munsell) is aware that Tara (Elizabeth Leiner) is his biological mother. However, he hasn’t seen her in years. Tara was arrested for embezzlement. Plus, Kyle (Michael Mealor) made sure that she’s been kept out of Harrison’s life. The reason why Tara hasn’t been in touch with Harrison, is because of the Abbott Golden Child.
Kyle was granted as Harrison’s primary parent. Summer (Alison Lanier) adopted Harrison. So, she treats him like her actual son. Tara is still in prison to pay for the sins of her white collar crama. But if people like Jordan (Collen Zenk) and Ian (Ray Wise) can escape jail, then so can Tara.

Why It’s Needed
It’s high time for Tara to return to Genoa City. She could shake up Kyle’s paternity dilemma. Tara could seduce him like she did when they first met at the Hamptons. This could bring drama to his flourishing relationship with Claire (Hayley Erin). Kyle clearly has a type. He loves blondes.
Or Tara could shake up with the entire Abbott family. Maybe she could work her way through the men. Tara was a gold digger who married Ashland Locke (Robert Newman). She could worm her way through Jack’s (Peter Bergman) relationship with Diane (Susan Walters).
Making Lanier a full-time cast member would bring so much potential to this character. The Newmans already have too many enemies torturing them. It’s time for the Abbotts to get the same treatment. Tara could return to find a way to get her son and the Abbott’s riches. Tara could change her look to trick the family, allowing the show to recast the character. This fun, soapy drama is missing.
