Here are the latest casting news for the week of June 8-12 from all five daytime dramas: The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, The Young and the Restless, and Beyond the Gates.

General Hospital Casting

Big news for GH fans. Steve Burton and Finola Hughes are officially back at work as Jason Morgan and Anna Devane. The pair has begun filming scenes and will appear onscreen in a few weeks. Hughes has been off the canvas since February, while Burton’s been on hiatus since March.  Find out what Burton’s been up to during his time away from the soap.

Kayden Brenna Tokarski is taking over the part of Scout Cain, Drew (Cameron Mathison), and the late Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) daughter. The character, previously played by Cosette Abinante, has been significantly aged. Tokarski, who’ll make her debut in July, has an array of credits. She played the young version of Julia Roberts’ character, Martha, in the Starz series Gaslit and starred in Lifetime’s My Professor’s Deadly Secret and Killer in Woods. 

Dean Geyer has been cast as Tristan Roberts, a new character paying tribute to the late Tristan Rogers, who played Robert Scorpio. The daytime newcomer previously starred on the Australian hit series Neighbours. He’s also appeared on Glee, Terra Nova, and Shades of Blue

Asher Antonyzyn and Bluesy Burke are back as Danny Morgan and Charlotte Cassadine. (Check out some interesting facts about Burke.) The two teenagers concoct a plan on Thursday, June 11. 

Kathleen returns as Dr. Liesl Obrecht. She shares scenes with Eden McCoy’s Josslyn and others on Monday, June 8.

Andrew Hawkes continues his run as the menacing Ross Cullum. The double agent airs on Monday, June 8. Hawkes recently explained how his dastardly GH character came to pass.

On the exit front, Marc Forget has left the soap as the cryptic Pascal. He made his final appearance last week. Forget joined the soap as a recurring character in the Five Poppies storyline back in July 2025 before shifting gears and becoming Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) butler. 

The Young and the Restless Casting

Shemar Moore is back at Y&R as Malcolm Winters. The character, who recently received a bone marrow transplant, returns to Genoa City on Monday, June 8, in scenes with Billy Flynn’s Cane, Christel Khalil’s Lily, and others. Moore also airs on Tuesday, June 9, opposite Vivica A Fox’s Stephanie as the two characters settle unfinished business. Moore recently shared his thoughts on his long career that segued from daytime to primetime

Roger Howarth returns as Matt Clark. He has an important conversation with Eric Braeden’s Victor on Monday, June 8. Check out the hobby that the two actors both have a passion for. Howarth airs throughout the week.

Michael Damian and Lauralee Bell are on the Genoa City scene as Danny and Christine Blair Romalotti. The couple turns up at the opening of the new Shadow Room on Wednesday, June 10 in scenes with Michael Graziadei’s Daniel.

Beyond the Gates Casting

It’s time for another crossover at BTG. This time around, six stars from Y&R are turning up on the soap. The special appearances begin on Tuesday, June 9, when Eric Braeden’s Victor touches down in Fairmont Crest to attend a fundraiser for Brandon Claybon’s Martin. Peter Bergman’s Jack, Bryton James’ Devon, Michael Mealor’s Kyle, Melissa Ordway’s Abby, and Susan Walters’ Diane arrive in town to attend the festivities on Wednesday, June 10.

The Bold and the Beautiful Casting

Elsa Esnoult resurfaces on B&B as Fanny Greyson. The character last appeared on the soap in January 2025, when she pitched a fragrance line to Lawrence Saint-Victor’s Carter and Annika Noelle’s Hope. She turns up in Los Angeles again on Thursday, June 11.

Darin Brooks gets more airtime as Wyatt Spencer on Monday, June 8. Look for Scott Clifton’s Liam to ask his brother to become a permanent part of the team at Logan. Brooks, who joined the soap in 2013, was taken off contract in 2023.

Christopher “Sincere” Cato makes another appearance as Alex. He airs on Friday, June 12.

Marketa Lim, Elena Moseikina, and Wendy Juel are back on the scene as Logan models. The trio airs on Wednesday, June 10. 

Days of our Lives Casting

Nikki Crawford continues to be featured prominently as Lexie Carver. (Here’s everything you need to know about the daytime newcomer.) She has scenes with her onscreen siblings, Dan Feuerriegel’s EJ and Stacy Haiduk’s Kristen, on Monday, June 8.

Chad’s (Conner Floyd) children are back on the Salem scene. Alexander Elijah Bond and Autumn Gendron resurface as Thomas and Charlotte DiMera on Friday, June 12, when their dad and Belle (Martha Madison) take them to a baseball game.

Shi Ne Nielson returns as Amy Choi. She has scenes with Ashley Puzemis’ Holly on  Wednesday, June 10. Soap Hub named Nielson the show’s performer of the month for her poignant portrayal of a grieving mother. 

Tina Huang pops back in as Melinda Trask. Look for Nielsen’s Amy to open up to the attorney on Wednesday, June 10.

Richard Wharton makes another appearance as Dr. Wilhelm Rolf. Look for the doctor to examine Lexie on Monday, June 8. Wharton opened up about taking over the role he inherited from Will Utay.
