Sally has really been through it on The Young and the Restless. After Adam dumped her “for her own good,” she hooked up with his brother, Nicholas, and went through some “Who’s the Daddy” drama only to learn that she and Adam would be connected forever…until Baby Ava was stillborn.
Sally Spectra: A Hot Mess
At that point, Sally (Courtney Hope) thought she and Adam (Mark Grossman) were done for good. Except they weren’t. He kissed her. She told Nick. He accused her of still being hung up on Adam, and now Sally is forced to face the fact that Nick was right. So what should she do about it? Here is what she shouldn’t do: Listen to Chloe.
Y&R: Voice of Experience
Chloe (Elizabeth Henrickson) has been a good friend to Sally, especially considering that Adam was responsible for the death of Chloe’s daughter, Delia. But, that is also why Sally must take Chloe’s advice with a grain of salt. Chloe hates Adam. Chloe has every reason to hate Adam. We do not blame or judge Chloe for hating Adam. However, she is not impartial where Adam is concerned.
Chloe wants Sally with Nick (Joshua Morrow) but not because she wants what’s best for her friend, and not even because she wants Nick (or Sally) to win. It’s because she wants Adam to lose. She also wants Adam to suffer and to feel even a fraction of the pain she did when Delia died. Once again, we don’t blame or judge Chloe for her stance. Sally should at least own up to it and factor it into her decision.
Sally Spectra: Both Ways
Frankly, Sally crying to Chloe about Adam is just as insensitive to Chloe, as Chloe advising Sally to stay away from him is inappropriate on Chloe’s part. These two women should definitely remain friends because friendship is so important, of course. Heck, if Chloe could stick by pal Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) when she was with Adam, she could do the same with Sally – without them bringing him up. Ever.
