Ashland Helps Adam Bring Down The Young and the Restless Newmans
When Victor Newman once again kicked Adam Newman to the curb on The Young and the Restless, the prodigal son turned to Ashland Locke, wondering if he wanted to team up to bring down the man who threatened to let Ashland die – and often acts like he wishes Adam were dead.
But Ashland (Robert Newman) wasn’t interested in going after Victor (Eric Braeden). He had Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) in his sights, and Adam (Mark Grossman) wasn’t interested in that. So it seemed like they were done.
But then, Ashland was found dead at the bottom of the Genoa City River. The circumstances of his demise were…inconclusive, to say the least – even if Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) refused to say much.
Now, Adam has a chance to team up with Ashland after all, and bring down his father. If Adam can help Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) prove that it wasn’t Nicholas Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) blow… or a windshield blowing up in his face which killed Ashland…it was Victor and his goons who only set it up to look that way, then Adam will hold all the cards.
If Victoria can blackmail Daddy into making her CEO of Newman Enterprises, then why can’t Adam blackmail Victor, Victoria, and Nick into the same thing? After all, they all stand to lose if the truth about Ashland’s death is exposed.
Adam can keep their secret…and they can step aside and let him take over the job Victor constantly uses to yank Adam’s chain.
Whether he does it with Sally’s help or not, Adam will want her back by his side to rule his new empire. The biggest question is, will she join him…or will it be payback time?
