What’s The Deal With Paris’s Mother Grace on The Bold and the Beautiful?

Grace Buckingham has made quite an impact since her arrival in Los Angeles on The Bold and the Beautiful. We know she’s a fiercely protective mother but not much else. B&B fans — and inquiring minds — want to know what Grace’s deal is.

The Bold and the Beautiful Mother Protector

Cassandra Creech, known to soap fans from her run as Denise on As the World Turns, has been a great addition to the cast as Dr. Grace Buckingham. She’s looking out for her daughters like any good mother does. But what else is going on with Grace? Soap Hub posed this question to B&B fans.

What’s Up, Doc?

The majority of you, nearly 55%, classify the doc as being controlling. We have to agree with that assessment as Grace has shown up at her daughter’s place of work and hasn’t hesitated to call out Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and his intentions towards her daughter Paris (Diamond White). Grace was direct and demanding. Strong mothers are a daytime staple and Grace is similar to other powerful moms we’ve seen on the show — like Quinn Fuller Forrester (Rena Sofer) and the late Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery).

The Bold and the Beautiful Caring Mother

Many of you, about 31%, say that Grace is simply a caring mother hence her strong stance with Carter. She may feel a smidge guilty about being absent from her daughters’ lives. She wasn’t there for Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) when Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) broke her heart. Grace appears to be determined that that’s not going to happen again where her daughter Paris is concerned.

Woman On The Edge?

The rest of you, about 14%, speculate that Grace has the potential to go over the top and enter Shelia Carter (Kimberlin Brown) territory in order to get what she wants. She’s been forceful in her conversations with Carter about Paris. Grace has threatened to go to the Forresters and inform them he’s hurting Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz). Time will tell what fully motivates Grace and how far she’s willing to go!
