The Bold and the Beautiful Star Rena Sofer Set to Judge Miss Universe

Rena Sofer was ideal casting on The Bold and the Beautiful. Her character, Quinn Fuller Forrester, is certainly bold — and both Quinn and Sofer are quite beautiful! Now, the actress is leaving the country to help choose the winner of the international beauty pageant.

Rena Sofer Cast As Judge In Miss Universe Competition

“It’s official!!!!” Rena Sofer shares on Instagram. “I’ve been asked to be one of the judges in the @missuniverse pageant in Eilat Israel!!! I’m so excited to be a part of these womens journeys!!! I am honored to be part of the responsibility for passing on this amazing opportunity for someone! Thank you to everyone at #missuniverse for asking me to join in the fun!! And I can’t wait to meet all the other Incredible women!! I’m off to Israel!!!”

In addition to Rena Sofer, other members of the Miss Universe Selection Committee include Brazilian model Adriana Lima, Indian actress Urvashi Rautela, Lori Harvey (Steve Harvey’s daughter), French model Iris Mittenaere, Puerto Rican model Adamari López, Filipina model Marian Rivera, Cheslie Kryst (Miss USA 2019), and Rina Mor (Miss Universe 1976). The Miss Universe Competition will be held In Israel on Sunday, December 12.

A Really Big Show

“Despite the challenges the COVID-19 pandemic placed in our path, we knew how to maintain the balance between health and the economy, to bring tourism back to Israel,” Israeli Tourism Minister Yoel Razvozov said in a statement. “We needed to create tourism anchors that will promote and present Israel to the world as a vaccination nation that invites tourists to visit. The Miss Universe pageant is, without doubt, an important and significant anchor of this plan.”

It sounds like Rena Sofer’s trip is going to be a quick one with the competition taking place in less than a week, so it’s doubtful this will affect air time for her character, Quinn Fuller Forrester. Recently, Quinn reunited with her husband Eric (John McCook) after he encouraged her to have sex with another man (Carter, Lawrence Saint-Victor) because of his erectile dysfunction.
