On today’s The Bold and the Beautiful episode, Ridge Forrester seemed a bit put out to hear that his favorite ex-wives would be forgoing fighting for his favor.
In addition, Bill (Don Diamont) painted his kin a most unflattering picture, and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) struggled to relax and enjoy a spot of good news. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
At the Forrester manse, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor (Krista Allen) reflected on recent events and agreed that Ridge and Bill made a pretty darn good team. In fact, they should do something nice for them. Reward them for their heroics.
Taylor playfully suggested a Batman and Robin-themed shindig, and Brooke seconded. That would serve as an adorable way to ease the men back into the real world. Speaking of the real world, Brooke was anxious to discuss her and Taylor’s new normal and where they’d go from here in light of Ridge’s return.

Taylor brought up the rueful days when it was team “Tridge” vs team “Bridge” and declared that “Braylor” was the endgame. Her friendship with Brooke means the world to her, and that’s what she wanted to focus on. Brooke enthusiastically agreed. Friends forever, cheers!
Ridge suddenly appeared and seemed taken aback by the ladies’ closeness. As many straight males are wont to do [not to mention a large selection of the Bold and Beautiful audience], he intimated that perhaps something sexual transpired between the two while he was away, but Brooke and Taylor quickly abused him of the notion.
What did happen, however, was that they’d decided to prioritize their friendship — actually make that out and out choose it — over their lingering feelings for him. That did not thrill Ridge.
At Bill’s abode, Liam (Scott Clifton), Hope (Annika Noelle), and Wyatt (Darin Brooks) sat in awe as he detailed his efforts to win Sheila’s (Kimberlin Brown) favor and convince her to confess to committing murder in the first degree.
Afterward, the siblings took turns praising their dad and his doings, and Wyatt took great delight in bringing up the lengths Bill had to go to, namely his sexing of Sheila. Gag, said everyone in the room, including Wyatt, who eventually took things just a step too far.
Elsewhere, having discussed the caper with Ridge and explaining how he’d been unable to stand around and just let Sheila flatline — yes, Ridge and Bill, Sheila actually does have a heart, and yes it was seized by an attack — Finn joined Steffy on the couch to really take in the events.
Both marveled at the fact that Sheila would soon no longer be an issue and that they’d finally have their life back. No more heightened security. No more looking over their shoulders. Things were looking decidedly up for Dr. and Mrs. Finnegan.
