It’s a love story for the ages, 6% of voters sigh. Jack (Peter Bergman) has known Diane (Susan Walters) longer than any other woman in his life. Sure, he may have met Luan, Keemo’s mother, earlier. But they were only together briefly, both in Vietnam and in America. Diane is the woman Jack comes back to over and over and over again. Love is the only answer possible!
It’s Your Y&R Move
We’re willing to side with Traci and Gina, 12% hedge…but we’re also waiting to see what happens next. Will Diane prove that she is truly in love with Jack, or will Jeremy (James Hyde) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) unmask her real agenda? The alleged newlyweds were convinced that they could make Diane slip up and show her true face (until Phyllis died). We’ll hold off final judgment until that does — or does not — happen.

Young and the Restless Danger, Jack Abbott
Jack has made a lot of mistakes in his past, 82% admit. In fact, Jack has pretty much made nothing but mistakes for his entire life. And Diane is just another in a long line of them. Because he never learns. The man is gorgeous, loaded, romantic, and caring.
Yet Y&R wants to convince us that he is so hard up for female companionship that he’ll fall head over heels for any woman willing to massage his ego. It’s sad, really. But if that’s the Jack they’re writing, then that’s the Jack we have to assume is screwing up…yet again.
