On today’s Bold and the Beautiful, Deacon Sharpe wonders who his former lady really prefers — him, or the millionaire she’s shacking up with.
In addition to Deaon’s (Sean Kanan) pondering, Hope (Annika Noelle) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) put forth pretty solid arguments as to why Thomas should be allowed to come back to work — but was Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) swayed? Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
Much to Deaon’s (Sean Kanan) disappointment, Sheila claimed that she was indeed in love with Bill (Don Diamont). The how, the when, and the why the pair fell in love equally unsettled Deacon, not the least of which because Sheila was still shacking up with him at the time she and Bill met on that deserted beach.
And not only were Deacon and Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) sharing his studio apartment, but they were *ahem* sharing the same bed…not that much sleeping was going on.

Of course, Sheila remembers all that as well. She remembers the pullout couch. She remembers the time spent up against the refrigerator, and the counter, and all those other surfaces. But the fact remains that she’s with Bill now, and that’s exactly where she wants to be. If it’s any consolation to Deacon, he and Bill are neck and neck when it comes to…you know. And even though Bill’s not a master of that trick that Deacon mastered, Sheila’s perfectly content.
Still, Sheila has a soft spot for Deacon — which probably explains why she didn’t haul off and smack him across the face when he pulled her into an unwanted kiss. A simple warning never to do it again sufficed.
In light of the less-than-flattering review of Hope For The Future’s latest offerings, Hope floats the idea of letting Thomas back into the fold. The response was muted, to say the least. If anything, her idea was met with outright hostility.
What could Hope be thinking?! Has she forgotten what Thomas did to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and to Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri) — two people Hope supposedly cares about?
Of course not, assures Hope. She knows that Thomas did wrong. She knows that Thomas earned his exile from the holy place that is Forrester Creations. That said, couldn’t he, like, design from home and communicate via email?
Maybe, huffed Steffy. She’s got to speak with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) first and foremost. Despite her status as CEO of the company, it will be her dad who decides Thomas’s fate. Sounds fair, Hope replies.
Thomas was pleased as punch to hear that his cousin and granddad failed where he shone, and he told Paris (Diamond White) all about it. That’ll teach them to doubt him. But Thomas is magnanimous. If his detractors were to crawl back to him and beg for his help, he’d give it. In fact, he hurried over to FC to let that fact be known to his sister. Steffy was not impressed. Nor did she seem too moved when Thomas changed tactics and began begging for his job. Then again, all that could change come tomorrow.
